German finance minister Lindner
German Finance minister Lindner is saying:
- Ending gas imports from Russia will hurt EU more than it would hurt Russia
- Declined to speculate whether EU will impose embargo on Russian energy imports
France's Macron called for immediate embargo on oil and coal imports from Russia, but not on natural gas imports. Germany is in opposition to such measures for fear of an immediate recession throughout Europe.
