Bid in the kiwi sees the pair head lower breaking below 1.0500 for the first time since last July

AUD/NZD touched a low of 1.0497 moments ago, as the pair slowly inches closer to the multi-year support level that was built since 2015.

The pair last tested that support level in June last year before getting a bounce, and currently that support level sits near the 1.0475 mark.

If that level fails to hold this time around, a move towards 1.0400 will be eyed next.

While geopolitical tensions are continuing to weigh on the ranges and trading sentiment on most major currencies today, the NZD continues to ignore those signals for the time being.
