Fresh lows for the Australian dollar
It's been a painful decline for the Australian dollar today after it started out so strongly. AUD/USD hit a session high at 0.7092 just as US traders were settling in but it's been a one-way street lower in the past 8 hours with the pair just hitting a fresh low at 0.6996.
There is little support on the chart until the September low (which is also the cycle low) at 0.6896.
