Grinds higher
The EURUSD is grinding higher in quiet afternoon trading. The pair sits a few pips away from the NY session high at 1.1389 level. The high for the day came in at 1.1394. The close in trading came in at 1.1382 - about where the current price is trading.
The 100 hour MA looms above at the 1.13967 level currently. At the lows today, the price tested the 200 hour MA (green step line in the chart above) . There were a couple 5-minute bars below the MA line but buyers kept the price above the level.
I would not put a lot of importance to the moves. Next week, the EU highlight will be the interest rate decision and presser by Draghi on Thursday.
