Kaplan dovish despite strong employment
If you were worried about a hawkish tilt in the upcoming FOMC decision, you can probably rest a bit easier after Kapan's comments. He's encouraged by the economy but untroubled by inflation and that's the perfect scenario for the stock market.
The S&P 500 is up 14 points to 2007, that's the best level since January 6.
Note that the market has closed on the highs of the day (or very close) for three straight days.
This would also be the 14th consecutive trading day where the market closed near or at the high/low of the day.
