The USD is mostly higher but mixed

As the North American session begins, the GBP is the strongest, while the EUR is the weakest. The BOE kept rates unchanged but the vote was 6-3 which keeps a rate hike wide open for the next meeting(s). The USD is mixed, but mostly higher with gains vs the EUR, JPY, CAD and NZD. It is lower vs the GBP and unchanged vs CHF and AUD.

The GBP pairs have the peak ranges for the day and trade near the day's extremes. Pairs like USDJPY, USDCHF, USDCAD, AUDUSD and NZDUSD have very narrow trading ranges that are well below their 22 day averages (month of trading. There is room to roam with a push today.
