Concerns about oil
The US stocks are opening with a negative bias at the open. Concerns about higher oil prices on the end of Iranian oil waivers are a concern for global growthy. Crude oil prices are up 2.42% at the moment. Pres. Trump continues to say that Saudi's, US and United Arab Emirates would more than offset the decline in Iranian oil in the market.
The snapshot currently shows:
- S&P down -8.47 points or -0.29% at 2896.92
- Nasdaq -28 points or -0.37% at 7970
- Dow -86 points or -0.33% at 26472.
US yields are higher with the longer end moving up the most. The 2 year is near unchanged, while the 30 year is up 2.1 bps.
