The US consumer confidence has come in at 92.6 vs estimate of 93.9. It is up on the month – rising from 91.0 in November. Lower gas prices, higher stocks are keeping the index at high levels, but the index has been stalling at the higher levels. The high for the year comes in at 94.1. That high was the highest since October 2007. So although we have the stall, the levels are relatively high.
