Major indices open near Friday's closing levels

The US major indices are opening the day little changed.

Looking at the major indices the snapshot shows:

  • S&P index is up 2 points or 0.07%
  • Nasdaq is up 4.4 points or 0.05%
  • Dow is down -5 points or -0.02%

There is not a lot of change in those early numbers.

IN the US debt market, yields are also little changed with less than 1 bp moves out the yield curve:

  • 2 year 2.3998, up 0.8 bps
  • 5 year 2.380%, unchanged
  • 10 year 2.559%, -0.5 bps
  • 30 year 2.969%, -0.7 bps
