Minutes of the Nov. 6 Board meeting of the Reserve Bank of Australia will be released at 0030GMT.
These are important because we’ll get to see what Glen Steven’s tip for the Melbourne Cup was … no wait … thats not it. We’ll get to see some of the reasoning behind holding rates steady at this meeting and perhaps divine rate-setting considerations/intentions for the December 4 Board meeting. Just a reminder, the December 4 meeting and outcome is more important than usual – there is not another Board meeting scheduled until February 2013 (on Tuesday the 4th).
