That effective ends his potential candidacy
The Hill is reporting that a 4th Republican Senator as opposed trend nominee Herman Cain to the FOMC. WIth 53 Republicans in the Senate, if 4 are against that would tilt the vote to 49 for and 51 against. 51 votes are needed for confirmaton.
Kevin Cramer (N.D) joined Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Cory Gardner (Colorado) and Mitt Romney (Utah) as GOP Senators against the Cain nomination.
