Relatively quiet start to what should be a busy week. The Bank of England and the ECB will announce their rate decisions mid-week, where both institutions will cut rates by 50 bps. The RBA in Australia are now expected to leave rates unchanged and the Australian GDP number on Wednesday is also widely anticipated. Finally, the US non-farm payrolls on Friday will also add to volatility.
Not much movement in early Sydney trade this morning with the EUR/USD slightly lower, currently trading at 1.2630, and USD/JPY steady at 97.50.
Good luck today.
