Add the Conference Board’s Employment Trends index to the improved US jobs backdrop. In addition to Friday’s employment report (and the upbeat revisions) and the trend toward lower jobless claims seen in recent months, the Employment Trends index is showing a pick-up. The index came in at 90.8 in November from 89.2 in October.
EUR/USD continues to consolidate losses with rebounds capped in the 1.4820/30 area this morning.
