Czech President wins tight re-election with tough-on-immigration message

Immigration remains a hot topic in Europe and much of the world

Check President Milos Zeman won a second term in a runoff in a 51.4% to 48.6% vote. He beat a pro-EU challenger and worked to build ties to China and Russia while taking a strong anti-immigrant message.

It highlights the simmering and still-popular anti-immigrant message in Europe and much of the western world.
