ECB approved 1.8 billion euro increase in Greek ELA - MNI

MNI reports a smaller bump in emergency lending than anticipated

Greece asked for 3 billion euros to help keep banks open as deposit outflows jumped ahead of the weekend but MNI reports that the ECB approved just a 1.8 billion increase. That could mean a second injection on Monday.

No reaction from the euro as it climbs more than 50 pips from the lows.
