ECB: Banks expect to see increase in demand for housing and consumer credit

ECB on banking expectations

The ECB is out with some comments on credit and loan demand as per European banks.

Specifically, they note that:

• In Q4, banks expect broadly unchanged credit standards for loans to enterprises and an easing of credit standards for housing loans and consumer credit lending
• They expect to see continued increase in net demand for both housing loans and consumer credit
• Banks also expect a continued increase in demand for loans to enterprises

Meanwhile, the EURUSD is trading to a new session lows as the ups and downs continue for the pair (with a down day today).
