The overall figure will remain at €750 billion
A senior EU official being cited by Bloomberg and Reuters is saying that negotiations for the recovery fund will be very difficult and that European Council president, Charles Michel, plans to table a compromise proposal on the matter next week.
I still think they are talking about the same mixture of grants and loans but who knows at this stage. We'll see what Michel brings to the table when the time comes.
But one can expect that any agreement remains some distance away still.
