European equity futures playing catch up to Friday's decline in Wall St

- UK FTSE futures -0.9%
- French CAC 40 futures -0.8%
- Spanish IBEX futures -1.0%
European indices closed on Friday before the significant downturn occurred in US equities. Hence, the declines here are a little on the heavy side as we begin the session. E-minis are seen down 0.6% currently so it's not to say the gloomy mood will go away any time soon but it's just to keep in mind that the >1% declines aren't exactly saying that risk sentiment is getting worse on the day.
USD/JPY continues to hold steady after bouncing off the lows earlier in Asian trading, now at 112.52.
