Fed hawk Fisher doesn’t seem to be showing much concern about the dollar at present. He says one must be careful not to read too much into short-term movements in currency markets.
On the economy, he says he sees no signs of robust private sector job-creation soon. Now is not the time to start tightening rates, Fisher says, saying there is no division on the FOMC, in a n interview with the WSJ.
