We had a terribly quiet session yesterday here in Asia and this is not unusual for December; either total quiet or else sharp volatile moves in thin markets. NY saw the latter with big rallies in the EUR and the CHF, with the other majors not far behind. Unfortunately I think Asia is likely to have another ‘dead day’ but we live in hope.
