BERLIN (MNI) – Germany’s economic upswing will likely slow in the
fourth quarter, the Economics Ministry said in its latest monthly
report, released Friday.
“After the strong growth of the German economy in the course of the
year, a slower pace emerges for the final quarter,” the ministry said.
“The reason for the cautious outlook for the coming months doesn’t
come from the domestic side, but is rather due to the clouding of the
European and international environment,” the report stated.
“The German economy is in good shape and its domestic economic
growth forces are intact,” the ministry reckoned.
