Yup, we almost made it an entire session without Brexit headlines. That's gotta be a first. Anyway, I'm not sure if Scholz's remarks here mirrors sentiment among European leaders but the way I see it is that chances of a no-deal has diminished but chances of a deal happening hasn't actually risen.
Cross-party talks remain the only plausible solution as long as May is prime minister and that doesn't seem to be going anywhere still. So, unless he's suggesting at May being ousted then perhaps there is room for some other deal to be brought to the table.
