EU's Jeroen Dijjselbloem on Bloomberg
- Greece's IMF repayment can only be one time
There's moaning now about Greece actually paying??
Not sure what was wrong with it apart from obviously leaving it to the last minute
Alongside that the EC is out with their usual list of country recommendations;
- Italy should take measures to accelerate reduction of non-performing loans at banks
- Recommends that Poland exits excessive deficit procedure
- Says Germany can use economic good times to boost investment in public infrastructure, education and research
- France must improve efficiency of tax system and reform wage setting and unemployment benefits
- Essential for France to use better economic conditions to continue reforms (have they started reforms yet?)
- Italian request for lower fiscal adjustment in 2016 to support reform is acceptable (Hark, another can flies through the air)
