Pound jump: Ireland, UK are 'very close' to border deal - report

An Irish official cited by Reuters said Ireland and Britain are 'very close' to a Brexit border deal and that things are 'moving quickly'. The official said it seems a deal will be reached within 'hours'.

Separately, the Independent reports that the Irish governing is reviewing a new text on the Brexit border.

I think this is a buy-able climb in cable. Some good news is coming and progress is near. I expect cable will hit last week's high of 1.3549 if/when a deal is revealed.
