That's a notable improvement in Italian factory activity as the headline reading jumps to its highest since September last year, but still sits in contraction territory. The bright spot is that new orders is seen rising to 49.6 from 47.8 in April but it's going to take much more to lift the Italian economy this year - which is still seen stagnating for the most part in Q2.
