Chinese markets open Wednesday followed by 4-day weekend
MNI points out that Chinese equity markets will be closed on Thursday and Friday for WWII remembrance holidays.
In addition, North American markets will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.
That means today's trading in China will be especially important. That also makes it especially likely that officials will do whatever it takes to support the market today.
