The price expectations part of the quarterly Tankan report from the Bank of Japan is out

Japan firms expect consumer prices to rise an annual 1.0 pct 3 years from now vs +1.0 pct in previous survey

• firms expect consumer prices to rise 0.9 pct a year from now vs +0.9 pct in previous survey
• firms expect consumer prices to rise an annual 1.1 pct 5 years from now vs +1.1 pct in previous survey
