NZ third quarter terms of trade (comparing the prices of a country's exports against those for imports … in a nutshell)

-0.3 % q/q, a miss on already low expectations 
  • expected 0.0% q/q, prior +0.6%
Export prices +3.3% q/q  (export volumes +1.8% q/q)
  • import prices +2.6% q/q (import volumes -0.9%) 
 NZD is higher following the China - US news, this taking a little of the steam out of it but its still up from late Friday levels.
