NY Fed GDPNowcast estimate for 2Q GDP comes in at 2.8%, unchanged

GDP forecast moves higher in the current week

The New York Fed GDPNowcast estimate for second-quarter GDP growth came in at 2.8%. That is unchanged from last week.

The third-quarter estimate fell to 2.6% from 2.7% last week

The jolts of total job openings added 0.01%, Import price index subtracted -0.01% and data revisions also subtracted -0.01%.

Overall the index to the 2nd decimal moved from 2.79% to 2.77% (or 2.8% rounded).

The Atlanta Fed GDPnow rose to 3.9% from 3.8% last (this week). They will release a new estimate on Monday.
