Here is a preview of the NAB business survey for August 2018, which will include business confidence (and conditions)
Via ANZ:
- Australian business conditions are likely to be relatively unchanged in August, in line with mixed results from other surveys. While conditions have retreated from their peak of earlier this year, they are still elevated compared to history.
- We will also be watching the first read on business confidence since the change of Prime Minister. Consumer confidence fell through the turmoil but improved upon resolution - businesses' responses will be similarly interesting.

Business conditions in the survey have been sitting well above average despite sliding back a little; confidence is just above its long run average. This most recent survey will cover the period of the government leadership challenge and change of prime minister.
