US stock market open 8 January 2016
- S&P +8pts to 1950
- Dow +56pts to 16570
- Nasdaq +34pts to 4723
US 10 year yields 2.16% +2bp
Not exactly busting a gut at the open, though we have been spoilt for sizeable opening moves of late. It's now to be seen whether a strong positive performance can be put in. If not then there may be trouble ahead
