Pound stays positive as LIBOR fines go on new air ambulances and payments to Europe to fall

Author: Ryan Littlestone | Category: News

At least something good might come out of the LIBOR scandal as Georgie boy says the fines will be spent on new helicopter air ambulances for the UK.

He also says we will be paying around €1bn less to Europe next year and that payments will continue to fall.

Far be it for me to pick holes in the good news, but it’s political campaigning at the highest level. There must be an  election coming up ;-)

Not much movement in the quid but it remains well bid at 1.5670
