ForexLive Analysts Take Over Website
Sept 22, 2014
The currency analysts who operate ForexLive™ have acquired the company from Currency Mountain Holdings.
The move is effective immediately.
“We love working at ForexLive and when the opportunity to acquire the site became available we jumped at it,” says Managing Editor Adam Button.
The employee takeover is the first stage in the upgrade and transformation of ForexLive.com. Button, along with co-analysts Eamonn Sheridan, Mike Paterson and Ryan Littlestone will manage the site.
“Working at ForexLive and interacting with our great readership is a thrill every single day,” Button said. “To have full control of the site gives us a new degree of freedom to form partnerships, and explore new territory in providing news, content and features to make ForexLive the number one site for forex traders.”
The first move of the new partnership was to add former FXDD chief currency analyst and author Greg Michalowski. Greg will assume the role of Director of Client Education and Technical Analysis.
“Greg is the best real-time technical analyst in the foreign exchange market. Not only is he a great communicator, he also brings 15 years of experience as a trader in the institutional market and an additional 13 years as a trading analyst for retail clients. That’s a unique combination”
“To have Greg posting and educating our clients helps to fill a void,” Button said. “We’ve had readers asking us for more focused trading education. Greg is eager to enhance that part of our business through live webinars and seminars, video and real-time trading analysis.”
Over the next few months the website will undergo some much-needed improvements including upgrades to the architecture, design and infrastructure in order to increase performance, speed and functionality. However, the backbone of the site is the high-quality and real-time content, which Button says will only get better.
“Currency Mountain has been a great partner and gave us complete autonomy with our analysis. That’s reflected in the high level of sophistication of our readers. They’re the most-savvy readers out there and that they come to us speaks to the quality and integrity of the brand that ForexLive.com has built.”
If you’re interested in partnering, investing or contributing content it’s an exciting time.
