Health minister says patients being monitored
Canadian Federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu says five or six people including at least one in Vancouver and one in Quebec are under observation for signs of coronavirus but that there are no confirmed cases.
I've been reading some Chinese threads from Wuhan and quite a bit of fear in the air.
No matter how many times I have said, I am also someone who has experienced SARS. Now in Wuhan. I see a completely different epidemic. Can really be described as "terror"
Here's a video from the same user said to be showing someone fainting. It's said the virus can cause people to collapse who don't yet have a fever. There are videos showing long lines at hospitals in Wuhan.
It's especially notable that the lunar new year holiday is the biggest time of the year for Chinese travel and parties. Some are being cancelled but many aren't and that means there will be a huge number of interactions between people in the week ahead. That's a major risk.
