Catalonia and Andalucia, 2 of Spain’s largest regions have rebelled against PM Rajoy’s attempts to curb spending as latest figures showed the Central governments budget deficit surged in H1.
Catalonia boycotted yesterday’s meeting which was designed to set spending levels over the 17 Spanish regions, and Anadalucia’s economy minister walked out after talks of further cuts.
