Another light calendar

The economic calendar is on the light side once again.

Highlights include:

  • Japan employment for September will be released at 2330 GMT/07:30 PM ET. The Jobless rate is expected to remain steady at 2.4%. The Job-to-Applicant ratio is expected at 1.63, also unchanged from last month.
  • Australia Building approvals for September will be released at 0030 GMT/8:30 PM ET. The expectatations is for MoM to rise 3.8% after a -9.4% plunge last month. The YoY is expected to show -9.0% vs -13.6% last month.
  • RBA Assist Gov Bullock will speak at 0210 GMT/10:10 PM ET

The market will also focus on the PBOC fixing. The fixing yesterday was set at 6.9377 vs Friday's fix of 6.9510.
