March 8, 2016. The JPY is strongest The NZD is the weakest.

As NA traders enter the trading fray, the JPY is the strongest currency while the NZD is the weakest.

The USDJPY did all the downside leg work in the Asia Pacific session. GDP was better than expected but consumption still lags and the price deflator move back the other way (from 1.8% to 1.5%.). Mike add's that there is year end repriation of funds as well, which is a benefit to the currency. The NZD started to fall early and wandered lower.

The USD is a mixed picture today - rising against the commodity currencies and the the GBP - falling against the rest.

Below is a look at the ranges and where we stand. the GBPUSD is making new session lows as I type. The ranges are light too.
