Italy October consumer confidence index has fallen to 111.7 from 113.6 in September, below the median forecast of 113.7.
EUR/USD meanwhile has seen an early rally fizzle out, capped at 1.4927. We’re presently back down at 1.4885, pretty much where we started out in Europe. Market seems to be in consolidation mode after yesterday’s sharp sell-off. Famous last words.
