Though the results will not be know until the end of the month, the New York Times says the 19 big banks are passing the stress test though some may need to raise additional capital. The government will give banks that need additional capital six months to raise it privately before stepping in with additional injections.
The report will likely help ease risk aversion which has ticked up in recent sessions.
