The public's confidence in the ability of Theresa May to get a good deal from Brexit negotiations rises

An ORB poll noted by our friends at Livesquawk, shows that the UK public has increasing confidence in Theresa May's Brexit negotiaitons.

A sample of around 2000 adults 18+, saw;

  • 44% say that they think May will get the right deal for the UK. That's vs 41% last month.

  • 43% think the UK will be better off after Brexit vs 41% prior

  • 64% think the UK will have greater immigration control after exit

  • 43% say having greater immigration control is more important than single market access (I'm glad that one is lower than 50% but still too high)

The survey is run on the first weekend of every month so it's possibly a handy one to watch for an idea of sentiment over the months ahead.
