Quiet economic calendar for the session

The economic calendar is void of a lot of releases today. However, PPI data for the month of May will be released at the bottom of the hour.

The expectations are showing:

  • PPI final demand for May 0.1% versus 0.2% last month
  • PPI ex food and energy, 0.2% versus 0.1% last month
  • PPI ex food energy and trade, +0.2% versus +0.4% last month
  • PPI final demand YoY, 2.0 versus 2.2% last month
  • PPI ex food and energy YoY, 2.3% versus 2.4% last month
  • PPI's food energy and trade YoY last 2.2%

The U.S. Treasury will auction off 3 your notes at 1 PM ET/1700 GMT.

Other than that, the market will have its ear on the pulse of the stock and bond yields (both higher) and any rumblings from Trump, et al on China
