The US stock indices shrugged off a weaker than expected US employment report.
- The S&P 500 index gained 27.53 points or 1.43% to close the week at 1951.35. For the week the S&P was up 1.04%
- The Nasdaq Composite index surged 80.69 points or 1.74% to close the week at 4707.77. For the week, it was up 0.45%
- The Dow Jones industrial average gained 200.36 points today or 1.23%. The index closed at 16,472.37 and was up 0.97% for the week.
US 2 year yields fell 6.53 basis points to 0.5794%.
US 10 year treasuries fell 5.26 basis points to 1.9841%
US 30 year bonds fell 3.10 basis points to 2.8189%.
Crude oil futures are ending the week at 45.65 or 2.0%
