The White House economics team stopped packing their boxes long enough to to issue fresh economic projections for the next two years.
- The WH sees growth of 0.6% in 2009 and 5% in 2010
- There will be an average of 235,00 jobs lost on a monthly basis in 2009 while 222,000 gains per month are seen in 2010
- Unemployment will average 7.7% this year and 6.9% in 2010, they say.
And if the forecasrs don’t work out? Heh, talk to the new guy…
