Japan's PM Kishida is on the wires saying:

• strongly opposes Russia's decision to cancel peace talks
• it is unfair and completely unacceptable

Japan PM had imposed sanctions on Russia after their invasion impose sanctions on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine including sanctioning dozens of Russian individuals and organizations.
