Russia says that it is putting more energy into peace talks than Ukraine is

• Our conditions for a peace deal are absolutely clear
• We know the style of the Ukrainians is to drag things out
• An agreement with clear parameters could very quickly stop what is going on

It doesn't really matter who is doing what or who is saying what in talks at the moment. The fact of the matter is both sides can't see eye to eye on what is needed for an agreement and that isn't going to change any time soon.

When questioned on progress for an agreement, Moscow says that it is not entirely right. Adding that there are elements which are true from recent reports but not the whole thing. In short, that's just a 'no'.
